Thank you, Maui Kai, for another amazing trip. If you haven't stayed at the Maui Kai in the Kahana/Kaanapali area, you are missing out. Keeley and the rest of the staff are a terrific asset to the property, with great input and suggestions. It had been over 15 years since I last stayed at this property. It has been dialed in, extremely accessible, and now has an off-the-charts walk score. Can't wait until next year.

As avid beach lovers my wife and I always try and stay close to the beach. There is nowhere closer than this. Awesome spot. Nice room. Just a bit pricey considering the sad state of the Aussie dollar.

Cute condos. Multiple owners depending on room. Staff for the condos were super friendly and helpful. Room was super cozy and the bed was very comfortable. Decent pool area with ping pong and corn hole as well as a hot tub. Very short walk to the beach and within walking distance to restaurants and the food cart court.

Great place, great location. We are totally happy here. Within walking distance to many excellent restos and across the street from the legendary Times supermarket. Very welcoming staff, loved the rooms. Rooms are very well stocked with plates and cooking gear—gas grills out by the pool were clean and powerful. You are literally on the ocean, fall asleep to the waves. Solid solid choice. Pro tip: this part of Maui is where you want to be, Western Maui is usually sunny and dry when the rest of Maui is rainy.

We love Maui Kai!! This was our 3rd time staying here. The location is perfect for us. It is not a resort so you don’t have those pesky resort fees. It is quiet. So far every room has been nicely appointed and equipped with many amenities such as beach chairs, umbrellas and boogie boards. The kitchens are fully stocked. The staff are wonderful and very friendly. The view from the Lanai is spectacular. The past 2 visits (both in April) we watched the whales from the Lanai. We will be back!!

We spent our last 3 days on the island here, it was a last minute extended our stay situation so we weren't expecting to much. The room itself is small but plenty cozy. We were able to cook a meal with the oven. (Our friends unit only had a stovetop, no oven). The TV gave us a hard time, but we took that as a sign that we weren't meant to be watching it. Parking was always easy. We never used the pool that is across the parking lot but saw others doing so. Its very loud with ocean waves but I didn't mind it. We enjoyed sunsets and sunrises each day. Had drinks on the lanai. And walked to get coffee each morning.
